Pastor

Robert Apps has served as pastor of Open Door since July 2013.

His responsibilities include the regular preaching and teaching of the Word, together with overseeing the church's ministries. Robert holds an M.A. in Biblical Studies and also lectures regularly in Bible College ministry.

Robert is married to Katie, an accomplished music teacher. Katie is involved in organising our church music program and assists with women's ministries. Robert & Katie have three children and live in Melton West.

Deacons

Paul Drenovski
Paul and his wife Maria have served at Open Door for almost 10 years. Prior to this, Paul served as pastor of the Slovakian Baptist Church in Sunshine for 14 years. Paul leads our Senior's Ministry and also preaches in our regular services. Paul and Maria are known for their graciousness and generosity to all in our church.

Steve Court
Steve and his wife Linda serve God by serving others at Open Door and in their local community. Steve is also our treasurer and Linda helps in many aspects of our church ministries.

Justin Macdonald
Justin and his wife Nicole, organise and lead our Friday Night Explorers Kids Club, an exciting time of games and Bible lessons for children in Melton. Justin also assists with many aspects of practical ministry at Open Door.
